Patients choose this product because of its instant results. The effect usually last around three months. However, results vary from individual to individual.
Once the product is injected into the skin, patients may experience slight swelling. It is important to not manipulate the affected area, as the dermal filler may move. Collagen based dermal fillers are the most popular. Bovine collagen is inexpensive; however, there is a risk of an allergic reaction with this product.
Hyaluronic Acid is another dermal filler option. This product has minimal risk of an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, the product is not mixed with lidocaine so the injection can be very uncomfortable.
